Willie and Friends at The Bog

In celebration of Father's Day, all our performers are all dads themselves, hosted by father of 2 Willie McArthur.
Ken Hunter (5pm to 6pm)
Ken Hunter is a solo acoustic guitarist and singer, sometimes performing as Used Notes, the name of the former duo he established in 2013. His eclectic mix of 1960s to 2020s folk, alt, country, pop ballad covers, delivered in a melodic easy listening style, has added ambience at café/restaurant/bar Sunday sessions, festival events, Christchurch Folk Club and private functions. Ken is also a weekly regular on the open mic circuit to keep connected with his audience and musician friends.

Pheasant Mountain Pluckers
(6pm to 7pm)
The ‘Pheasant Mountain Pluckers’ originated as a close-knit trio within the Mount Pleasant Ukulele Band.
Steve, Russ and Gus have played over many decades, but more recently at various venues and concerts concentrating on the ukulele. The Pheasant Mountain Pluckers have adapted their performances to both guitar and ukulele and with the addition of a cajon they are able to perform exciting music in a variety of genres
