Yule Christmas Market 2023

Whangarei's best little Christmas market is back for 2023 and we're going bigger, better and more festive this year!

The Yule Christmas Market in collaboration with Whangarei District Council is happening Friday 8 December at William Fraser Memorial Park, right beside the new playground at Pohe Island.

A free family event perfect for the whole family with artisan stalls, food vendors, carolling and a performance from the Whangarei Brass Band. Then from 7pm find a spot on the grass and settle in for Movies in the Park on the big outdoor screen playing 'The Grinch' (2018, G rated. Run time 90mins. English subtitles).

Check off your Christmas shopping list, meet up with friends for dinner and join us for an evening of festive fun!

Parking for the event is available in the Pohe Island playground carpark, near the Pohe Island bike track, Te Matau a Pohe carark or the Town Basin.
Make the most of the summer sun and combine your visit to the event with a walk around the Hatea Loop.
