Action Movie! is like if you invited all your best mates round to watch your new special edition DVD of Mission Impossible, or a marathon of Die Hard with the director's commentary running, or a Blu Ray of Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark that your friend Kyle bought on Trade Me. Imagine that, but it's a fully improvised comedy show, from the plot of the movie to the name of the director! Brought to you by Tāmaki Makaurau's long-form specialists Improverished - creators of beloved shows such as ‘Can I Get an Underground Location and a Mythical Creature?’ and ‘It's Alive!’ This show brings the group's signature joyful storytelling together with our love of blockbuster movies into a goofy and exciting new format. Movie lovers, theatre fans and comedy enthusiasts will all have a great time at Action Movie!
