An opportunity to walk through farmland to a beautiful and remote West Coast /Awhitu Peninsula beach (Irwins Gap), thanks to our Awhitu Heights Farm team, manager Tom, and owners Adam and Ron.
Our walk will encompass:
- A BYO picnic lunch
- A beach clean up thanks to Sea Cleaners (gloves and bags supplied)
- A presentation on a proposed offshore wind farm by BlueFloat Energy.
This walk is hilly and requires moderate fitness. Please bring your own sturdy footwear, weather appropriate clothing, drinking water and food for your picnic. Dogs allowed by MUST be on leads at all times.
Please register to attend this event. Parking is available by the barn on J. Irwin Road, off Manukau Heads Road. Look out for signs.
