Bonnets, Blues And BBQS

The annual blues festival this year is part of a much wider community event being held at the Pirongia Rugby Sports Club in Pirongia, Saturday 17 February 2024.

The Bonnets Blues & BBQS event musical aspect involves two headline acts:
Tina Turley from Huntsville, Otario;
Sean Lurman from Hamilton.

Tina will be backed by the Kiwi Blues Connexion while Sean is guesting with The Dirty Tones:-
Kiwi Blues Connexion includes: Terry Oldham, Deborah Oldham, Peri Grant and Dean McGaveston on drums;
The Dirty Tones includes Tony 'Big T' Bullen, Mark Hill with John Wilks on drums.

In addition, there is some great entertainment provided by:
Theory 89 from Rotorua featuring Haggis Maguiness on harmonica;
Fatt Max from Auckland;
The Dirty Tones from Auckland;
Taranaki Slim (from Opunake way);
The Hillmen Hunters;
Goulash from Hamilton;
More Gain & Blues Refrain from Huntly;
Showdown from Pirongia;
Close out.
