Chinese Shadow Puppetry Talk & Workshop For Children

Chinese Shadow Puppetry is an ancient form of storytelling and entertainment which uses flat articulated cut-out, sometimes translucent figures which are held between a source of light and a screen. Unesco has listed shadow puppetry in the World Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity List.

We are so excited to have the NZ Shadow Puppets Art Studio join us for a free demonstration of Shadow Puppetry followed by a Shadow Puppets Workshop for children aged 8-12 years.
