Electrical Workers Competence Programme is presented by registered Electrical Inspector Glen McDonald of Elementary Solar and Electrical Limited.

Who is this course for?

Electrical Workers Registration Board recognised Electrical Workers including; Electrical Inspectors, Electricians, Electrical Service Technicians, Associated Tradespersons, Electrical Appliance Serviceperson, Trainees and Limited Certificate holders. Excludes High Voltage and Lines Mechanics.

Pre Course requirements
All attendees must login to the EWRB Portal and complete the E-Learning Modules www.ewrb.govt.nz.

What to Bring
Test Equipment; Multi meter to test voltage and installation tester to test Earth Fault Loop and RCD’s.

- Prospective Short Circuit Current / Arc Flash Energy

- Theory Assessment
- Practical Testing exercises (switchboards and various electrical equipment)
- 1 hour basic first aid refresher and CPR L2 ( sufficient to meet the requirements of the EWRB Competency Programme but not renew you first aid certificate)

Course outcomes
Successfully completing this course, theory assessment, practical assessment, basic first Aid and CPR L2 will give you eligibility to renew or obtain your practising licence.
