Join Rangers for a guided nature walk above the tree line to discover the native plants and wildlife that make the alpine zone their home. Walk along the Mount Burns tops from Borland Saddle to the tarns and learn about the amazing adaptations of the flora and fauna that lives in this harsh environment.

Please note that this event requires your own transport to the Borland Saddle with car-pooling with other participants encouraged. There is no cost to the event but a donation towards the running of Te Anau Bird Sanctuary is appreciated!
