Join us at the Karaka War Memorial Hall for this Free DIY worm farming workshop for kids!
Bring the kids along to this hands-on event to make their own mini worm farms. We’ll talk about the importance of home composting, how cool tiger worms are, what they eat, and how to keep your worm farm going. Each family will leave the workshop with their own mini worm farm, a few worms (subject to availability) to get them started, and instructions for the grown ups on how to keep it going and even make it bigger!
Note:
- 2 ice cream containers with 1 lid per family
- If you have a drill, please bring it along
- If you have a healthy worm farm at home, please consider bringing some to share!
Plus, if you are interested in purchasing a composting system so you can turn more of your organic matter into compost, please make use of our $40.00 discount vouchers that all confirmed workshop participants receive. Order on our website and it is delivered to your door!
