A variety of artists from around the country with distinct styles will be shown and we believe that these paintings are some of the best we've seen in our travels through the art world.

Jane de France comes from an artistic family and her awareness of tradition and technical ability has given her the foundation from which to develop her own style. More recently she has demonstrated a move towards the abstract, rejecting realism and finding more freedom to express her gorgeous compositions. Her work is described as passionate, beautiful, ethereal, opulent and dramatic.

Julie Kwen desires to be an artist, where people can admire her paintings and she wants to be acknowledged and recognised for the skill she has developed. "I want to be able provide people with joy and a sense of healing through my paintings I create."

Karen Hitchman is a new artist to the gallery and we welcome her exquisitely elegant Romantic Series of paintings inspired by her love of this group of artists' artworks, and then by a recent trip to the UK and Nederlands, visiting the galleries full of beautiful artworks held there, especially the Pre-Raphaelites exhibition 'The Rossettis' held at the TATE Britain gallery in London, and the Pre-Raphaelites drawings exhibition at the Ashmolean in Oxford.

Rhonda Crawford is a new artist to the gallery who loves to connect with nature giving a close up experience, encouraging you to appreciate what is all around us. "Painting is like breathing for me. I put my heart and soul into each unique piece." I want to share the new life of the buds through the transforming stages of nature's prime, to withering and returning. Every stage has a beauty to uncover from the simplicity of a buttercup through to proud statuesque form of the foxglove.

Contact me, Ngaire, on to register your interest early to purchase any of these works of art before the opening.

We look forward to seeing you and your guests at the opening reception and during the exhibition.
