Faure: Requiem

The Tauranga Civic Choir presents a programme which is focused on Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, but also includes his Cantique de Jean Racine, along with shorter pieces by Gounod and others.

Our Musical Director is Nigel Williams, and accompanists are New Zealand organist Matthew Chanwai and pianist Leon Gray. Soloists for the afternoon are Wendy Coster (soprano) and Chalium Poppy (baritone).

Entry for school children is free, but they do need a ticket for seating purposes.
