Friday Lunchtime Concert - Thames Talent!

Thames Talent - A lunchtime feast of local guitar and vocal music feturing :

Arthur Road - (aka teachers Sam Rogers and jayne Bolsover) playing and singing their self written compositions.
They are well known around the area and sing at various functions.

Maria Yates:
Maria’s musical journey began with the Arai te Uru Cultural club in Dunedin in the 1960’s.
Kapa Haka provided numerous rhythmic and singing opportunities for Maria who first learned guitar at Dunedin North Intermediate school. She was later self taught.
Maria has supported Thames Mad in three productions, is a member of Thames Acoustic group and Thames Musicians’ Club.

Maria’s love of waiata and singing has been shared with a number of schools in the community. She will sing play her favourite songs in this concert.

Both are members of Thames Acoustic Music Group and Thames Musicians Club.
