Gathering Thoughts - Introduction to The Essentials of Vegan

Our ongoing 'Gathering Thoughts' event, held just prior to the Vegan Night Market and at the same venue, will comprise of informative talks, cookery demonstrations / workshops or movies. We welcome your suggestions too, so please email gatherings@veganchristchurch.org.nz with your input.

Come along for information, support, discussion, or to meet others prior to enjoying plant-based kai at the market.

For the April event, we welcome the Christchurch Vegan Society President, Yolanda Soryl, who's been vegan for over 30 years. She has raised 4 children, all of whom have been vegan since birth, and has kept up with the latest research in plant-based nutrition as a result.

Her topic will be 'Introduction to the essentials of vegan nutrition'.

This is a free event, run by volunteers, though a koha to cover room hire would be welcome.
