Glenbrook Vintage Rail, in conjunction with the Frankton Thunder Automotive and Community Festival, Sunday March 10 2024, will offer steam train rides across the Waikato River from Frankton Railway Station, Fraser St, to Ruakura and return in the morning. Three shuttles leave between 10.05am and 11.15am. $20 per passenger with under 2s on adult's lap. A steam excursion to Te Kuiti will leave the Frankton Station 1.25pm, return 4.30pm Adults $59, Children $39 return.
