Good Friday Service

A quiet service that allows people some space to engage with the story Good Friday. We listen to the story, and through an activity are given some space to name all that holds us in death. We then wait for the good news of Easter Sunday morning.

Those who wish can then go into town for the Walk of Witness. This starts at 10.15 from Holy Trinity, and walks to St. Mary’s Church, Cameron Rd, stopping for a reading and reflection from the stations on the cross. We finish with a service and Hot Cross buns.
