By popular demand, The Alembics Lab partners up with Sparks Brewing for a very special two-day grain-to-glass workshop held at The Auckland Botanic Gardens. Suitable for anyone interested in making their own aromatic spirits. Covering how to make excellent quality American-style whisky and neutral spirit for gin-making.
This is a hands-on workshop where you will get to experience and participate in all of the processes - including the distillations (and tasting!).
Day One - Covers washes, mashes and fermentation.
Day Two - Covers distillations (low wines and spirit run), making cuts and taking fractions, ageing and barreling (for whisky).
