Raise a toast to love under the majestic cosmos at Space Place’s special Valentine’s Day event!
The event kicks off at 6pm with a variety of drop-in activities, food and drinks to enjoy. Your evening also includes a 45-minute live Planetarium Session – there are three sessions throughout evening, select a time-slot when booking your tickets: 6pm, 7pm or 8pm.

- A live Planetarium Session all about love in the cosmos (screenings at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm).
- ‘Can’t Help Drawing in Love’ drop-in sketching sessions – all materials provided courtesy of the generous donation from our friends at Gordon Harris The Art and Graphic Store.
- A star-crossed photobooth where you can take photos with your beloved.
- Access to the interactive Space and Science exhibits.
- A complimentary drink upon arrival (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and a Wellington Chocolate Factory bar.
- Grazing platters (V & GF) available throughout the evening, plus a cash bar.
- A romantic 14% off discount at the Space Place Shop.

Our friends at Wellington Cable Car will be staying open until 9.30pm and offering a discount on round trip tickets purchased through this event. Add-on your Cable Car tickets while booking.

- On 14th February the last car departs at 9.30pm
- A return ticket is valid for 1 trip in each direction
