Kevin Flynn (USA) is a regular in many of The Farrelly Brothers Movies and can be seen as The Wedding Coordinator in The Heartbreak Kid with Ben Stiller; in Me, Myself and Irene with Jim Carrey; in Osmosis Jones with Bill Murray; and as Charlotte’s Boyfriend in HBO’s Sex and the City. His character, Bram Walker, was voted one of the most popular boyfriends in the series. Kevin recently completed a role in the movie The World’s Greatest Beer Run with Russell Crowe and Zac Efron now showing on Apple TV plus Ricky Stanicky with Zac Efron & John Cena set for release in the next few months.

Kevin Flynn’s bringing his one man International Comedy Festival show FEAR OF HEIGHTS to Aotearoa and begins with a birdseye view of Manhattan from atop a beam overlooking skyscraper heaven. On the lonely beam forever floating in air sit 11 men grabbing a bite. The captured image is Charles C. Ebbet’s iconic photograph called “Lunch Atop a Skyscraper.” The man on the far right is Kevin’s grandfather Paddy Flynn. And so begins Kevin’s tale of life growing up in an Irish-American family of ironworkers.
Besides a career in ironworking, what opportunities would his life offer? How about soccer? And so Kevin became a professional soccer player for a time. But that didn’t suit his world view. Then he got an idea. Laughter was part and parcel of his culture – so why not become a stand-up comedian? With some trepidation mixed with oceans of motivation, Kevin began his uphill battle to achieve fame and fortune. Clearly, basic talent and burgeoning skills were there for the asking.

Doug Chappel is a Multi-Award winning professional comic with over 25 years experience, and is widely regarded as one of Australia’s best live stand up comedians. Currently part of Triple M radio’s ‘Poets Day Friday’, Doug has also appeared on numerous TV programs, and has been the headline act in some of the world’s biggest and best Comedy Clubs. Doug has performed on 5 continents in nearly 20 countries, including the US, Asia, the Middle East and the UK. Doug has had sold out Comedy Festival shows, entertained the troops in countries like Afghanistan, Dubai, the Solomon Islands and East Timor, won numerous comedy awards, performed on cruise ships and has worked alongside acclaimed comedians such as, Dave ‘Hughsey’ Hughes, Jimeoin, Fiona O’Loughlan, Tommy Little, Kathy Griffin, Pauly Shore, Bert Kreischer, Joe Rogan and Chris Rock, in Australia and around the world.
