Classic textured rings, with a unique and exciting twist! Learn to make your own fine jewellery fidget rings from copper, brass and silver - beginners welcome! All materials included in course fee.


  Description

In this one-day workshop you are offered a hands-on opportunity to create custom rings with fun mobile components and unique textures. We'll also practice and build experience in the essential jeweller’s fabrication skills of sawing, filing, soldering, sanding and polishing.


What are fidget rings? Also known as spinner rings or stim rings, fidget rings have loose bands attached that can move and swivel around - it's interactive sculpture you can wear!


In this course you’ll be lead through the design and creation of custom copper and silver rings, with copper, brass and silver wire spinner bands adding novelty and movement to a classic ring design.


 This course offers beginners a fun introduction to jewellery making, and for those with some jewellery experience, it offers a great way to advance and expand your making techniques to new levels.


All materials included in course fee.


Please wear closed-in footwear suitable for a workshop environment. bring a work apron if you have one or wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little grubby.  Remember to bring your reading glasses if a have them.


Note:  Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel.
