Opening this show is singer/songwriter Sophie Gibson. Originally from Scotland, Sophie moved to NZ as a child and grew up in Katikati. She now performs regularly in both Auckland and the Bay of Plenty. Singing from the heart, Sophie combines witty lyrics and catchy melodies that will uplift your soul.

Next…the main act is the Brendon Ham Band. Country music artists, The Brendon Ham Band and internationally renowned fiddler Marian Burns are embracing an ever-increasing reputation and popularity. These dynamic New Zealand artists have deservedly earnt the respect and following of a growing fan base across the ages, eager to enjoy the unique package that the Brendon Ham Band and Marian Burns together deliver.

Being NZ Music Award finalists, Marian and Brendon have had the pleasure of playing support and have shared the stage and performed with both international and national artists such as Ricky Skaggs, Kenny Rogers, Charley Pride and The Topp Twins.

Brendon Ham along with his band are regarded as a quintessential contemporary urban Honky-Tonk style unit with their own brand of hard-hitting rockin'-country music. Although country music is the true spirit of the Brendon Ham Band, each member contributes their own style and influences, giving an unforgettable dynamic show.

From the Grand Ole Opry to the Eiffel Tower Marians Burns famous electric live performances combined with her on stage unstoppable energy and pure joy from the music, cannot be missed and will leave the audience wanting more. With a multitude of awards and accolades including the prestigious VAC “Benny Award”, Marian has cemented herself as one of New Zealand’s iconic entertainers.

Be sure not to miss this Country Rock Show bringing the hoedown to town with the Brendon Ham Band featuring Marian Burns.

Come on down to the beautiful Haiku Reserve in the Katikati township for a fun evening of family entertainment. It’s a picnic environment so bring your hamper and deck chairs and enjoy some great music in a stunning setting.

Gates open at 5pm. Show starts at 6pm.
