Koru Brass will be running hot and cool in St Heliers on June 15th 2024.

This classy 5-piece are excited to present their 2nd concert, featuring title work Frostfire by Eric Ewazen, Koru’s special take on Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, a virtuosic air and variations for tuba, and the Wellerman.

The brass quintet is a genre all professional brass players cut their teeth on: there are huge demands on virtuosity and stamina, but high levels of tone quality and musical communication permit the magic to really happen within the group and with the audience.

Feedback from debut concert: "it was entirely enjoyable to come to a concert where the players passionately played and were committed to excellence, at the same time as having thought about communicating to the audience and taking them along on the musical journey."
