Learn the ancient Chinese martial art of Kung Fu in a modern, safe and friendly environment. You can learn practical self-defence techniques, while gaining fitness and making new friends. Your first month of training is free with no commitment, so you can discover whether Kung Fu training is for you.
Known as The Stressfree Way, Shao Chi Chuan Kung Fu reduces or eliminates many of the physical and mental stresses present in other martial arts disciplines. In particular the training programme enables students to learn and practice effective self-defence while minimising the risk of injuries and allows excellence to be built over time in a safe and supportive space.
Chans Martial Arts provides a positive training environment for learning Shao Chi Chuan. Progress is celebrated and recognised as students learn the school's syllabus and move through a system of coloured belts, but the emphasis remains on consistent and enjoyable training with its wide-ranging benefits of self-defence, physical fitness, mental health, personal development and social connection.
