This full-day tour will give you a unique look behind the gates at Glenmore & Godley Peaks, two iconic High Country Stations in Tekapo. The event is a guided trip, with spaces available for personal vehicles or chauffeured seats.

● Starting & finishing at Glenmore Station
● Morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea provided
● Toilet stops at start, lunch & finish
● Guest Speakers at lunch talking about the stations & the farming operations & the history
● This is a self-drive 4WD tour on off-road formed farm tracks
● A high-clearance 4WD is necessary. Not suitable for smaller 4WD’s such as Honda HRV, Nissan Xtrail, Forresters etc. Low range required. No low profile tyres. All terrain or mud tyres only. Vehicles must be weed free & clean
● Limited to 40 vehicles
● Limited chauffeured seats available in designated vehicles (driven by a local)
● No dogs allowed.

By registering you acknowledge that:

1. There is a degree of risk associated with the event & while Lake Tekapo Bright Stars / School have taken steps to mitigate the associated risks &hazards & make the route as safe as reasonably possible, it is not possible to avoid all risks & hazards.

2. Your participation in the event is entirely at your own risk & you accept full responsibility for any loss, damage or injury that may occur as a direct or indirect result of your participation in the event.

3. You will indemnify Glenmore or Godley Peaks Station against any loss, damage, expense, liability or proceeding suffered or incurred at any time by those parties as a result of your participation in the event.

4. You (or any person driving your vehicle) have the relevant experience to drive a 4WD off road during this event. You will ensure that your 4WD is maintained & capable of completing this off-road 4WD trip. Seatbelts must be worn by all occupants of the vehicle during the duration of the trip.

5. You agree to all the Terms & Conditions.

Terms & Conditions
1. The High Country 4WD Tour is an event promoted & run by the Lake Tekapo Bright Stars Trust & Lake Tekapo Primary School.

2. When registering on behalf of other guests, the person submitting the registration form warrants & represents that they are authorized to register on behalf of all persons & all persons will be bound by these terms & conditions.

3. Guests will comply with all directions & instructions given by officials during the tour.

4. The event takes place over two working stations on formed 4WD tracks. Guests must not detour from the marked tracks or designated stop areas.

5. Due to the event being on private property there are strictly no animals to be brought to the event.

6. The care, safety & wellbeing of minors taking part will be the sole responsibility of their parents or caregivers.

7. Each person at the event warrants (& where minors, their parents or caregivers of warrant in relation to them) that they are in good health & have no medical or other conditions that might be affected by participating in the event.

8. That organizers reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event at any time for any reason
9. Where the event is canceled, a refund (less any costs incurred) for the cost of the ticket will be issued for guests who have already paid.

10. If guests cancel their registration within 30 days of the trip there will be no refunds. If a guest transfers their registration to another person/persons then these terms & conditions still apply.

11. The postponement date is 16th March 2024. If the event is postponed all registrations will be transferred to this new date, no refunds will be given if guests cannot attend.

12. All registrations become property of the Lake Tekapo Bright Stars Trust / Tekapo Primary School. The information will be held securely in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 & will be used for the purpose of the event only.

13. Registration to the event constitutes the consent by guests to the organizers to use images & photography for communication, marketing & promotional purposes.
