Life drawing is a basic staple for all artists. This course will assist you in developing the necessary skills required to render the human form in a 2D manner.

Description
This course will help artists and designers at all levels to develop their life-drawing skills. Starting with an exploration of structure, form, shape and proportion, we will progress through foreshortening while creating illusions of depth and atmosphere using light sourcing. You will also learn to draw using a range of media.

Please bring an A2 sketch pad, 2B and 4B pencils and an eraser. Cost of model included in course fee.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:

- Draw the human form
- Comprehend structure and shape
- Demonstrate fundamental drawing skills
- Be familiar with proportion
- Use drawing media to create tonal range

Note: Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel. We'll let you know by email so please check yours regularly. If you need to cancel your registration, here are our terms and conditions: "What You Need to Know".
