LET'S BRING BACK THE NATIVE BIRDS AND HELP THEM THRIVE IN YOUR BACKYARD. JOIN PREDATOR FREE TAUPO FOR A FUN HANDS-ON WORKSHOP WHERE YOU’LL LEARN HOW TO BUILD A RAT TRAP TUNNEL.


Everyone is invited to come along to the Motutere Bay TOP10 Holiday Park for a fun hands-on workshop where you'll learn how to build a rat trap tunnel.

The workshop will include all materials, a rat trap and instructions on setting your trap safely for $26. You can take the trap and the box home and put in your backyard to help native birds thrive.

Trapping in your backyard has loads of benefits. But most importantly, getting rid of rats makes your garden a safe place for our unique native wildlife to live and feed.

Trip Length: 2 hours
Minimum Age: All ages. (0-10 years must have adult supervision)
Maximum Participants: 40
Meeting Place: Top 10 Holiday Day park, follow the Predator Free Taupō signs
