Music at the Rotunda in the beautiful Rotorua's Government Gardens, is back thanks to the Rotorua Trust and the newly formed, Music Rotorua Charitable Trust!
Enjoy a fabulous afternoon being entertained by two performers each sunny Sunday 18 Feb to 07 April and maybe even 14 April.
Bring your picnic, rug or chair to make your afternoon more comfortable, don't bring any booze as there is an alcohol ban.


Travel by bike - Rotorua Lakes Council have promised bike parking to make your day easier!


Schedule of artists for 2024:
18 February
1 pm Jack Grace of "8 Scott Avenue - The Musical" fame, need I say more. A born entertainer who gave up rugby for music. Many of those musical years spent on the stage at Sky City
2pm Jono Breakwell, professional musician, you may have caught recently playing and singing at The Night Market, Secret Spot or Eat Streat


25 February CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN
1pm Simply Random, duo from Reporoa, a combination of acoustic guitars and vocals. Cover a variety of genres across several decades; including traditional, folk/country, old time as well as modern music
2pm Bobby Mihi Howard, musician, vocalist, composer and stalwart of Rotorua Musical Theatre who also needs no introduction in Rotorua
Bobby is currently working on her bilingual musical Ko Tāua (You and I)

1pm Blues Club, BOP Blues Club Inc‘s very own band
2pm Krissie Knapp, also of 8 Scott Ave and Lakeside fame, Krissie is a dynamic performaer with over 30 years of experience entertaining audiences around the Pacific

1pm Sunrise Rockers, with 100s of years of experience, these guys bring you great Rock N Roll
2pm Trojan-John Te Rehu-Tuki, loop artist, musician, songwriter and singer. Acoustic performer of many genre including country/folk, jazz pop, reggae/dub and rock


24 March
1pm Tuballa Max, AKA Max Imus, Max is a mulit-instrumentalist and composer currently completing her Diploma in Music at Toi Ohomai in Rotorua
She has performed at a variety of events including Lakeside, CrankWorx, Multicultural festival and more. She writes and records her own music, and has a passion for writing music for gaming and larger ensembles
2pm Lloyd Ackroyd facebook.com/lloyd.ackroyd.7, you may have heard Lloyd, singer/songwriter, at Secret Spot on a Sunday afternoon or at The Night Market from time to time with his smoldering, powerful vocal sound in covers and originals of blues/rock/soul and folk


31 March
1pm Nikau Grace, well known gifted 16 year old singer songwriter, who has captivated audiences since she was a child.
Recent performances include, Lakeside Rotorua and the Howard Morrison Tribute Concert. Nikau's debut single "Tōku Tuakiria" reached #7 on the Hot NZ singles chart and she was the 2023 recipient of the Waiata Maori Music Awards U25 Emerging Artist.
2pm Rewa Ututaonga long time performer of Lakeside and more recently seen in musicals The Color Purple and 8 Scott Avenue.


7th April
1pm Now n Then, Group of singers and musicians who get together to enjoy sharing popular music from 60s, 70s, 80s and even to the 2020s if it's upbeat
2pm Evelyn Falconer, music teacher, choir leader and gifted singer, Evelyn, a trained classical singer, has been entertaining Rotorua with classical, jazz and songs from the shows for years
