Musicking Together: Special Edition for Music Therapy Week

In this special edition we invite our group of regional music therapists to gather for a night of music making. We will offer time for discussion after the music playing. Anyone interested in music therapy can have the opportunity to meet professionals and ask about the field. Come along if you're curious about our profession and also if you simply would like to join the fun to play music without pressure for one night.

“Musicking Together” is a free community music circle run by Sophie Sabri, registered music therapist in collaboration with different local musicians each month. The event takes place monthly at Evaro. It is open to anyone who has a love for music and no musical experience is required. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Musical instruments are provided. Come along to meet new people and play music without pressure.
"Musicking Together" is a safe space to create music together, to dance, to sing or simply listen to others. As long as we are in space, we are musicking.

How to find us?
Evaro is located in the James Smith building, at the corner between Manners and Cuba Street. Enter the building and pass Rebel Sports to find the stairs. Go up to level 1 and follow the corridor on the left. You'll find Evaro to your left.
