This special 3-hour winter season class will celebrate the nature of Aotearoa.
Using copper and brass to practice, then moving on to work in sterling silver, you'll learn to cut, heat and apply textures that mimic the textures of nature. Print feathers and dried grasses into your metal. Use hammers to create water and bark-like patterns.
Choose your favourite technique and create a beautiful silver pendant or a pair of earrings that give you a lasting memory.
All materials provided.
Extra metals and chains are available for purchase in the studio.
Kids aged 12 (or so) are welcome to attend the class, but any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.
