The All Girl Big Band is an established feature of the Christchurch musical landscape. In a largely male dominated musical genre, 18 Christchurch women are changing the face of big band. The ensemble is a completely female, full big band who create a 'Powerhouse of Sound' that will blow you away!
Come party with us to tunes ranging from swing to funk to pop - you won't be able to resist having a boogie.

This event is part of Off Centre, an arts festival that shows off the best of Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre – eclectic, exuberant, accessible. With around 40 events, the place will be filled with music, comedy, theatre, and vibrant entertainment. One day, two nights, it's all happening on the 8-9 March 2024.
