An exciting group show by three unique artists is on at Mangawhai Artist Gallery, opening Feb the 16th - 28th. Print, Play, Clay!!
Introducing Kim Boyd - Ceramic Artist, Tracey Currington - Abstract painter and Talia Russell Silk Screen Printer. All three work together at Estuary Arts Centre in Orewa a Charitable Trust and have carved some time out of their busy schedule to create a group show, showcasing their talent.

Kim is a talented ceramic artist known for her unique colourful style in her ceramics - using bright underglazes she creates quirky pieces of art that are both functional and delightful.
Tracey combines mark making in several mediums, Acrylic, Mixed Media, Watercolour, and encaustics to create abstract pieces that often reflect textured landscapes, florals and marks. Tracey works intuitively, her work evolving throughout the process using different techniques, marks and colours.
Talia creates dramatic large scale screen prints of iconic landscapes. Combining contrasting and harmonious colours to capture the essence of the natural world and the nostalgia of travel posters.
Working with art on a daily basis is inspiring, yet finding the time to create in your studio can be difficult

- Kim says
Together they have created unique pieces which reflect their individual talents yet they work harmoniously together and reflect the playfulness that is present in all of their work.
Not to be missed! The artist’s will be present on the weekends to chat with visitors and talk about their inspiration, process and practice.
Pop in and discover an exciting world of Print, Play, Clay!

Meet the artists at 5pm on Friday 16 February in the Gallery.
