Haere mai and welcome to a special dinner to celebrate Puanga – the Māori New Year.
Puanga is a time to gather cherished ones to reflect on the present, celebrate the past, and plan for the future. This Puanga, Haukai Bistro & Bar will present an immersive gastronomic evening, hosted by Taranaki Iwi CEO, Wharehoka Wano.
Echoing the ethos of love for the land and respect for the sea, Haukai Bistro & Bar Executive Chef Richard Ponder, has crafted a menu designed around the stars from the Puanga cluster. This divine degustation will be exquisitely matched with local wines, for an option of a wine & food paired dinner for those who want the full experience.
This extraordinary six-course degustation will create an unforgettable and magical evening of celebration and culinary indulgence.
