Artist Khye Hitchcock has installed small caches with postcards, pencils, and prompts along the Pūharakekenui - Styx River Catchment in North
Ōtautahi - Christchurch.
You are invited to explore these places where ecological restoration work has taken place or is underway and participate in the Pūharakekenui Post Project by making a post card.
Most caches are at a seat or picnic table, or somewhere where you can pause. They contain a set of simple prompts. Khye would love it if you could draw and write something to post back to them. There are free drop boxes, or you can use the post system.
Your reply will become part of an art project Khye is creating. In return, you can keep a Pūharakekenui Post pencil!
