Relay For Life Northland 2024

The Cancer Society provides free support services and information for people going through cancer treatment. We also fund important scientific cancer research and implement health promotion initiatives to reduce cancer for future generations. With no direct government funding Cancer Society Northland rely on the generosity of Fund Raisers to provide these services.

What is Relay For Life ?

The event involves teams or individuals walking, running, hopping or dancing around a track through the night to signify that cancer never sleeps. Cancer patients don’t stop because they are tired and for one night neither will we!

Teams set up and decorate their campsites.  There is a carnival-like atmosphere with loads of fun games, activities and live entertainment to keep you motivated through the night.  Teams supply their own food, but there is a Big Breakfast. There will also be hot and cold food and drinks for purchase onsite for the duration of the event
