Romeo and Juliet By the Barden Party

Get ready for an injection of joy into your summer. Imagine the classic love story of Romeo & Juliet with a twist, being played out on the magical reserve at The Arts Village in Rotorua, New Zealand!

Award-winning theatre company The Barden Party is returning to Rotorua! This time they are bringing their usual fun-loving spin to Romeo & Juliet, and filling Shakespeare’s most famous play with their hilarious, heartfelt antics. Reimagined as a modern-bohemian romance set to Kiwi and Australian music you know and love, and that you’ve never heard before… You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll dance the night away.

This is an outdoor event happening on the lawn at The Arts Village, Rotorua.

Bring what you need to be comfortable, including sunglasses/hat, warm clothes and blanket or chair to sit on!

Tickets are by donation, suggested min. $35pp.
