Join us on Rotoroa Island for a fun family day; celebrating Seaweek and Children’s Day on Sunday 3rd March.

Led by our specialist educators, we have a host of free activities to inspire children’s connection with nature, including - beach investigation, nature art and Habitat Jenga. Book online with promo code Rotofamily for a Family pass special at $199 and discover our beautiful island sanctuary with your favourite people for less.

Day Plan
10:00am Depart on Explore ferry from the Viaduct, Downtown Auckland
11:20am Arrive on Rotoroa Island
11:45am - Guided Nature walk with island ranger (additional, bookings required^ )
12pm - 3:30pm - drop in family activities
4:25pm Ferry Departs Rotoroa Island: (Arrives Auckland: 5:35pm)

Take the time to explore our beautiful island sanctuary while you are here. Book a 90 minute guided nature walk^ with one of our rangers or pick up a map and explore the island's native bush and sandy beaches at your own pace. With 8km of walking tracks, historic buildings and an award winning museum to discover, there is plenty to see and do here.

While the activities are hosted, children need to be actively supervised by an adult.

This family day event is free - just book your ferry ticket for sunday 3 march 2024 and join in.

^ The guided nature walk departs from the Exhibition Centre at 11:45am and can be pre-booked online with your ferry ticket for an additional $22 per adult, $11 per child or $60 per family (2 Adults & 2 Children).
