They perform original music for improvisation by Ward, as well as selected delicacies from the jazz tradition. Long marinated in such pungent juices as Monk, Coleman, Mingus, Lacy, Zappa and Frisell, David writes music that is melodic, humourous, rhythmic and joyous.
