Bring it on SkyCity Queenstown! BEN NORRIS: UK's stand-up comedy headliner and JUSTINE SMITH: NZ'S best female comedian.
Ben is all over the 2024 NZ International Comedy Festival in Auckland, however, will be performing ONE only gig outside Auckland this year - here at Queenstown's home of stand-up comedy, SkyCity Casino. Ben first got a taste of The Classic Comedy Club and NZ audiences back at the turn of the millennium. UK commitments have prevented Ben from returning until the 2024 NZ Comedy Fest. But in the meantime, he has become a UK champion on the huge Pro circuit.

Ben’s TV credits include: “Mock the week” (BBC 1), “The Comedy Store” (Paramount and Comedy Central), “Never mind the Buzzcocks” (BBC 2), “They think it’s all over” (BBC 2). Ben has written and performed three solo shows at The Edinburgh Festival: ‘Sitting room only’ (1997), ’Mr Ambiguousness’ (2013), and ‘Benny on the loose’ (2014).
Justine:
Having won the Billy T Award, the NZ Comedy Guild Best MC and the NZCG Best Female Comedian so many times everyone is losing count, Justine has established herself as one of the best bloody stand ups we have here in New Zealand. Justine does not suffer fools - no she doesn’t. Those who know Justine will readily testify to the fact that she is one of the most honest comics you’re likely to meet. This, combined with her razor-sharp wit and biting commentary makes her one of the best comics around.
Justine is a regular face on our screens, THREE’s 7Days, The Project, TVNZ’s Have You Been Paying Attention, along with many stand-up shows such as AotearoHA, A Night At The Classic, After Hours, Stand Up Aotearoa, and many Comedy Galas – which she hosted in 2021. 2022 has also seen her as a stand out on Taskmaster NZ. A leading light of New Zealand Comedy, Justine is just as comfortable in a theatre or a local bar in the country, one of the best.
To round it all off - local hero and stand out comedian Mr Paul Douglas will be MCing the night so prepare yourself for a top night of entertainment.
