Did you know the average visitor looks at an artwork for less than 30 seconds? This annual global event is on a mission to help more people discover the joy of looking at and learning to appreciate art.

Across the world, visitors to galleries and museums come together annually on April 13 to become part of the ‘Slow Art’ movement. Having first started in 2010, participants are encouraged to look at art for a little longer - in the hope that we not only see more - but develop stories, feeling and opinions about the works.
