Creating beautiful textured silver pieces with colour, fun and texture is the name of the game! This class is ideal for beginners, groups of friends and visitors to the city. Advanced students are also welcome!
Students start by practicing some techniques in copper and brass, then move on to silver. Earrings can be studs or drops, and you may even be able to make more than one pair. Come with your ideas.
Students will be shown how to use special jewellery tools to heat, texture, form and polish their pieces, as well as clever connections for non-metal decorative elements.
Included in the class fee are copper and brass for practising on, up to 6 grams of sterling silver and all consumables such as sandpaper, solder and chemicals. Extra metals and chains are available for purchase in the studio.
A fantastic holiday experience for complete beginners or if you have done one of our classes before.
Kids aged 12 (or so) are welcome to attend the class, but any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.
