Get ready for an injection of joy into your summer. Imagine the classic love story of Romeo and Juliet with a twist, being played out in a garden near you! Award-winning theatre company, The Barden Party is bringing their usual fun-loving spin to R&J and filling Shakespeare's most famous play with their general hilarious, heartfelt antics. Set as modern-bohemian romance put to Kiwi and Australian music you love, and that you’ve never heard before… You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll dance the night away.
This is an outdoor event happening on the lawn of Paddons Paddock. Bring what you need to be comfortable, including sunglasses/hat and warm clothes. You can bring chairs or blankets if you'd like.
Let us set the scene: a small troupe of travelling actors turn up and perform Shakespeare, comedy and live music for you while you drink wine with your closest mates.
