The Final Cut: Curators Tour of Eerie Pageantry

Join us for a special curators’ tour to mark the final weekend of our exhibition Eerie Pageantry as they discuss the dark forces at play in the works of Julia Robinson and Don Driver.

Lead by ‘Curator of Screams’, Aaron Lister and Dr Chelsea Nichols, this guided tour offers a chance to traverse the ritualistic meeting of made and modified materials, tools, bodies and nightmares which make up the exhibition, and to hear insights from the curators about the process of developing this unique collaboration between two important antipodean artists.

Curator of Screams:

Curator of Screams is an ongoing series of collaborative projects between Aaron Lister, Senior Curator at City Gallery Wellington Te Whare Toi and Dr Chelsea Nichols, Senior Curator at the Dowse Art Museum, which explores the connections between contemporary art and horror films.
