Join Tamatha Paul MP & Geordie Rogers (Renters United) in watching the premiere of a short feature documentary film 'Under the Surface' directed by Nate Oakley, at Thistle Hall on 25th March, 6pm! This is a free event, but please book your ticket through Eventfinda to secure your place.
'Under the Surface' is a documentary film about the decrepit heritage buildings around Wellington, and their link to the housing crisis we are experiencing as a community. The film looks to explore the concept of heritage and its link to the housing crisis, weighing up its place in our modern Wellington society and discussing what could be done to solve the issue.
The documentary is directed by Nate Oakley, which started as a small project and has evolved into a short feature film, with the aim of being impartial about the subject of heritage and its importance, leaving the viewer to decide their corner.
Gather your friends & whānau and join Nate Oakley, Tamatha Paul MP & Geordie Rogers who are guest speaking at the premiere, taking questions and discussing this important topic and more. Come along and be a part of this important conversation to help change Wellington for the better.
