Explore the role of sound and music in measuring space and time, and how sound is connected to whakapapa. Musician and educator Rob Thorne leads a workshop to draw out Sorawit Songsataya's Fibrous Soul methodology. Participants are invited to experience sound, learning and language in stone and other materials of the whenua.

How is sound a pathway to our past and whakapapa? Can sound help create a language to connect us to a land we’re not from? Explore these and other questions with renowned taonga puoro player Rob Thorne as he takes us on an experience of space and time from a te ao Māori perspective.

Tickets are $10.00.
Spaces are limited so please book using the ticketing link: https://shop.govettbrewster.com/products/visualisation-of-sound
