On the 6th of February 1840, the Treaty of Waitangi was signed by rangatira Māori and representatives of the Crown.
This free community and family-friendly event will feature fantastic NZ musicians live on the main stage and complemented by a range of onsite delicious food stalls, arts and crafts stalls and interactive games activities and exhibitions for kids and the whole whānau.
We pride ourselves on enforcing a strict smoke, drug, alcohol-free and zero waste focus. Para kore and security marshals will be on site to support this whānau-friendly day.
No need to buy water, just bring your water bottles.
Bring a picnic blanket along and set yourself up in front of the stage, and enjoy a quintessential Aotearoa summer’s day.
The day will begin with a pōwhiri (māori welcoming ceremony) at 10am.
So come along early to score yourself an awesome spot. See you there!
