Weekend Weed Bins Laingholm - Ecofest

If you live in the Waitākere Ranges Local Board area, you can dispose of invasive weeds free of charge at the community weed bins and help prevent pest plants from spreading into the native bush we love.

Weed bins will be onsite from 9 a.m. on Saturday, and an EcoMatters staff member will be onsite for weed advice from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This event is part of EcoFest, an annual month-long festival taking place Friday 15 March – Sunday 14 April 2024. Inspiring climate action across Tāmaki Makaurau, it is hosted in collaboration by EcoMatters, Kaipātiki Project, Beautification Trust and Waiheke Resources Trust, and proudly supported by Auckland Council.
