Wellington City Council are on a mission to improve the well-being and quality of life for our tamariki through the power of play and are excited to be bringing you a series of playful community events this summer. Come out and play with your whānau at these free, playful, family-friendly events.

From healthy development to fostering resilience, play contributes to social, emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being. It's a vital part of a child's growth and we believe everyone plays a role - parents, play champions, and sector leaders - in enabling children to play their way, every day.

Spread the word, share the joy of play, and join the Pārekareka Movement!
