Canada’s Talk Is Free Theatre invites you to walk into the woods to retrace steps taken by a classic heroine of Russian folktales.
Find out What She Burned in an immersive installation featuring mid-century bootlegging techniques fused with modern projection art. Inspired by a children’s story about a young woman facing an evil witch in the woods, this piece has dark elements and is experienced in intimate groups.
A unique experience nestled in the Auckland Botanic Gardens, What She Burned is not soon forgotten. Sessions on sale for every half hour from 10am. The installation is located in the bush approximately 10 minutes walk from the main Gardens entrance. Wayfinding signage will be on site to help guide you to the experience and Front of House staff.
Based on the folklore by Alexander Afanasyev. Created amd artistically led by Joe Pagnan.
