Wonderful World of Marine Food Webs With Merc for Seaweek

Animal communities are vital for the health of our moana. Join members of the MERC team to explore the weird, wonderful and fragile animals of the Hauraki Gulf.
This session at the Albany Village Library will be an immersive marine adventure where we will dive into learning about food webs and how even the most different of animals are connected.

Through interactive role-play, discussion and a creative craft, participants will gain a deeper understanding of marine ecosystems and the importance of kaitiakitanga. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate Seaweek in an educational and interactive way!

This session is approximately 1 hour.
Family-friendly, ideal for ages 7 & up but open to all.
Children under 7 need to be accompanied by an adult.
