Dividing your time between music and surfing may seem to many like the ideal lifestyle, and for Donavon Frankenreiter it most probably is. It’s little wonder, then, that when the Laguna Beach local decided to hit NZ shores for two shows on 10 and 11 January 2009, he chose surf spots Mangawhai and Waihi respectively as the ideal venues for what are sure to be summer musical highlights.
Two local legends have been called upon to join the bill for the shows: The Little Bushman and Katchafire.
