They've been rocking New Zealand since 1982 and now The Exponents are heading back to the pubs and clubs to celebrate their 30-year anniversary.
Tickets for the Exponents - 30 years' tour go on sale on Monday, with South Island shows scheduled for Christchurch, Timaru and Dunedin. The first run of North Island shows kick off in Hamilton, New Plymouth and Wellington and continue onto Whakatane, Mt. Maunganui, Napier, Freemans bay, Whangarei and Browns Bay.
"A 30th Anniversary Tour? I never saw that coming" says Jordan Luck. "I can't wait for the band (Brian Jones, Michael "Harry" Harallambi, & Dave Gent) to get on the road and visit some of our favourite haunts".
And what a set-list it will be, from over the past 30 years, including 'Who Loves Who The Most', 'Victoria', 'I'll Say Goodbye (Even Though I'm Blue)', 'Christchurch (In Cashel St. I Wait)' and 'Whatever Happened to Tracey'.
"The songs seem like they were written today or at least in the last week. That is the way I imagine we will play them too", says Luck.
